Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic educational environment as a valued member supporting elementary students' wellbeing and academic growth. This contract opportunity centers on collaborating within an interdisciplinary setting, guiding children from Kindergarten through 5th grade. You will play a crucial role throughout the school year, applying your expertise in school psychology to foster positive outcomes for both students and staff. Your days will be varied and purposeful, from conducting IEP evaluations and coordinating services, to active involvement in critical building teams. As a key participant, you'll lend your skills to the Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams, participate in proactive problem-solving, and support the larger mission to ensure each student's needs are met holistically.
Qualifications:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist Experience supporting elementary-aged children, ideally within a school setting Strong understanding of IEP processes and best practices for evaluations and student services Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in fast-paced environments Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive school psychology services and assessments Serve as an integral member of building-level teams (problem solving, interventions, crisis response) Conduct and interpret evaluations for IEPs, documenting and communicating findings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design and support intervention strategies Contribute to building a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment Maintain accurate records and adhere to district and ethical guidelines This full-time, onsite position runs from July 30th through June 2nd, offering you the chance to make a profound impact throughout the academic year.
