Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in Aurora, CO is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with educators, families, and students to provide comprehensive psychological services that foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psycho-educational assessments and evaluations to identify student needs Develop and implement intervention strategies and support plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success Provide counseling services and crisis intervention when needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting assessments and developing individualized interventions for diverse student populations Strong communication and collaboration skills Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Location:
