Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic part-time role that allows you to make a real impact on elementary students' success. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated school psychologist ready to serve grades 1-5, working with a student population of approximately 450. With a flexible 3-4 days per week schedule, you can balance your professional passions and personal commitments while becoming an integral part of the support system for children at a pivotal stage in their education.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed or certified as a school psychologist Previous experience in elementary school settings (grades 1-5 preferred) Strong background in conducting comprehensive student evaluations and re-evaluations Skilled at administering assessments, interpreting results, and writing detailed psychological reports Confident and prepared to lead initial and re-evaluation meetings with school teams and families Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students in need of services Lead meetings by sharing findings, collaborating with staff, and helping guide educational planning Administer cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments and synthesize findings Prepare clear, actionable reports and provide recommendations for interventions or supports Serve as a resource for teachers and parents, offering expert insight on student development and needs This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, focus deeply on evaluation work, and be at the forefront of helping students thrive.
