Key Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (unrestricted) Previous experience as a school RN or in a pediatric care setting preferred Current CPR/BLS certification Exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively with students, parents, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide routine and emergency nursing care to students and staff during school hours Administer medications and manage care for students with chronic conditions or allergies Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and school policies Assist with health screenings, immunization monitoring, and documentation Respond quickly and appropriately to medical emergencies or injuries on campus Offer education and support on health, hygiene, and wellness for students and school personnel
