Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives as a Full Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant within a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with a wide-ranging caseload of PreK-12th grade students near Genoa, CO. You'll play a vital role as part of an interdisciplinary team, helping students achieve their communication goals while receiving strong professional oversight.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA license or eligibility in Colorado Previous experience working with school-age children, preferably in a school setting Proficient in delivering direct and indirect speech-language services Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists Strong organizational and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments for students in PreK through 12th grade under the supervision of a licensed SLP Develop and implement intervention activities in both individual and group settings Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights that guide student progress and support Maintain accurate records of student performance and therapy sessions Communicate with families and educators to optimize support strategies Work closely with a supervising Speech Language Pathologist for ongoing guidance and professional growth This full-time, contract role includes competitive hourly compensation, ranging from $38 to $42 per hour.
