Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Transform your career as a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist working in a supportive school environment near Genoa, Colorado. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference for students from PreK through 12th grade. You'll collaborate within a dedicated educational team to enhance communication skills and help students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct and indirect therapy services tailored to students' unique needs Participate in IEP meetings as a valued contributor to the student support team Communicate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure consistent progress Maintain accurate documentation to meet regulatory and district requirements Benefit from on-site supervision if you are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Colorado SLP License required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY under supervision Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certificate Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
