Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity working with students K-12 as a contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification. This rewarding position offers a .5 FTE commitment, spanning 2.5 days each week from the start of the upcoming school year through December 2026. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or a local professional seeking additional hours, you'll find flexibility and meaningful work supporting a diverse student population.
What you bring:
Active SLP license and CCC certification Experience working in school settings, ideally with K-12 students Knowledge of best practices for assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families Adaptability, organizational skills, and a student-centered approach Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Key responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to assigned students Assess, develop, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions Support students' speech and language growth within classroom and pull-out settings This long-term substitute position is ideal for those looking for a consistent, manageable schedule, and the ability to make a direct impact in the lives of children across multiple grade levels.
