18-May-2026 Job Summary The primary objective of this position is to support the preparation and submission of a scientific manuscript to Geophysical Research Letters (GRL). The work will focus on synthesizing and documenting results from previously conducted WAM-IPE model simulations, with the goal of producing a high-quality, publication-ready manuscript. Develop publication-quality figures and visualizations. Coordinate and communicate effectively with co-authors. Prepare and submit the manuscript to the journal. Assist in addressing reviewer comments and revising the manuscript as needed. Other duties as assigned. What We Can Offer $21.00 - $45.00 per hour. Be Boulder. What We Require Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering. Strong foundational understanding of the dynamics of the Earth's upper atmosphere and ionosphere. Demonstrated scientific writing skills, particularly in preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals. Proficiency in programming and data analysis for handling simulation outputs and generating publication-quality figures. What You Will Need Effective communication skills to clearly convey scientific results and collaborate with team members. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a high level of responsibility and reliability. What We Would Like You to Have Master's degree in aerospace engineering.
