No Offer Description The postdoctoral researcher will carry out their activities within the Laboratoire de Physique des 2 Infinis Irène Joliot-Curie (IJCLab - UMR 9012), a joint research unit under the supervision of CNRS, Université Paris-Saclay, and Université Paris Cité. The position is jointly affiliated with the ASSD team (Astroparticle Solid State Detectors, contact: Claire Marrache-Kikuchi) and the Cryogenic Service (contact: Matthieu Pierens). It is part of the national CryoNext program (France 2030), dedicated to the development of high-performance cryogenic technologies for quantum technologies, and more specifically to ultra-low-temperature thermometry in the millikelvin range. The successful candidate will directly contribute to the development of millikelvin-range thermometry capabilities, in close interaction with national partners from both academia and industry. In particular, they will be involved in:
- the implementation, optimization, and operation of cryogenic devices and systems;
- performing low-temperature experimental measurements;
- the development and experimental characterization of new thermometry concepts for ultra-low-temperature applications;
- the implementation, optimization, and operation of thin film deposition systems;
- thin film deposition and characterization.
