Job Summary:

This role is responsible for experiment execution in downstream biologics process development. This will include equipment setup, maintenance, processing, and data acquisition in a laboratory setting. Technical report authoring and lab notebook recordkeeping are also critical to this role. A successful candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal skills, technical competence, and a willingness to learn .

Primary Responsibilities:

Scale-down and range finding study execution. Purification by FPLC of Pilot scale batches. Implementation of multiple liquid chromatography types (i.e Affinity, Ion Exchange, HIC) Buffer formulation, resin selection and capacity study execution. Filter loading and fouling study execution. Intermediate stability analysis. Formulation and stability study support. Protein characterization by A280, SEC, SDS-PAGE and cIEF. Statistical data analysis. Equipment setup, functional verification and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, bioengineering, molecular biology or related program. Familiar with protein biochemistry Familiar with general biology lab techniques Familiar with statistical analysis and experimental design Technical and scientific writing and presentation skills
