Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team studying turfgrass pathogens. The successful candidate will conduct laboratory-based research focused on fungicide resistance, host-pathogen interactions, and disease resistance in turfgrass systems. The role will integrate omics approaches (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics) and bioinformatics to better understand pathogen biology and mechanisms of resistance. Responsibilities include experimental design, data collection and analysis, and contributing to publications and collaborative research projects. Required Degree Doctorate -Plant pathology, molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, or a closely related field. Minimum Requirements PhD in Plant pathology, molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, or a closely related field. Desired Qualifications Experience with omics data generation/analysis and bioinformatics tools, along with expertise in molecular methods to study host-pathogen interactions and disease resistance mechanisms. Experience with advanced microscopy Strong laboratory skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a research team.
