Gas Technician / Technician in Training Launch a Career in the Natural Gas Industry Looking for a hands-on career with room to grow? Inframark is seeking a Gas Technician or Technician in Training to help operate and maintain the municipal natural gas system in Tifton, GA. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in HVAC, plumbing, utilities, construction, mechanical systems, or customer service who enjoy working outdoors and solving problems. What You'll Do Locate and mark natural gas lines. Perform leak checks and basic system inspections. Assist with gas service installations, repairs, and maintenance. Read meters and support service turn-ons and shut-offs. Complete maintenance records and service documentation. Support traffic control, site maintenance, and safety initiatives. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Mechanical, utility, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience preferred. Utility locating experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills and a commitment to safety. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Why Join Inframark?
