Reputable Specialty Chemical Company is seeking a Research Associate to support the R D and analytical testing of new products in Wilmington, DE Responsibilities Lead application focused research efforts that provide direct technical support to R D projects in paints and coatings, construction materials, water, and the energy industries, fostering innovation. Contribute to the development of novel formulations using new and existing active ingredients and next-generation delivery technologies. Utilize analytical chemistry techniques, including HPLC, to characterize the performance criteria of new formulations. Collaborate with lead scientists, other research associates, and broader interdisciplinary teams, including regulatory, marketing, and product development, to support and drive projects from concept to commercialization. Effectively manage time across multiple projects and competing demands, demonstrating a proactive approach to execution. Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment while assuring compliance with safety regulations. Requirements Bachelor's or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering. A minimum of 3 years of industrial laboratory experience in a research, product development, or technical application setting. Prior experience with analytical techniques (HPLC) and industrial product formulation a plus. Experience working in a team-oriented research setting to drive projects toward completion preferred.
