Role Description We are seeking an Analytical Chemist for routine HPLC testing of raw materials and finished products. This role focuses on daily benchtop execution: preparing standard and sample solutions, operating and maintaining HPLC systems, and documenting all data in strict compliance with

ISO/IEC 17025

standards and laboratory SOPs. The position reports directly to the Lead Analytical Chemist. Key Responsibilities Conduct quantitative routine analyses on raw materials and finished products primarily utilizing HPLC and wet chemistry techniques. Prepare and reagents, reference standards, and test samples. Perform routine HPLC instrument maintenance, system suitability verifications, and basic troubleshooting. Review analytical chromatographic data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established specifications. Document all analytical testing, preparations, and instrument logs contemporaneously in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and internal SOPs. Assist in Out-of-Specification (OOS) and Out-of-Trend (OOT) investigations and root cause analyses when required. Follow laboratory safety standards, adhere to chemical hygiene plans, and handle chemical waste appropriately. Maintain chemical inventory, reference standards, and laboratory consumables. Maintain strict confidentiality of client data, test results, and proprietary testing methods.

Minimum Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline.

Experience:

1-3 years of hands-on laboratory HPLC experience, with demonstrated proficiency operating HPLC instrumentation.

Instrumentation & Software:

Hands-on familiarity operating Waters HPLC systems and Empower chromatography software.

Quality & Compliance:

Working knowledge of data integrity principles, quality control practices, and

ISO/IEC 17025

standards in a testing laboratory environment.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in analytical sample preparation, volumetric glassware, analytical balances, mobile phase preparation, and routine HPLC troubleshooting.

General Software:

Basic literacy in LIMS workflows and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word). Preferred Qualifications Practical understanding of or previous experience with analytical method validation, verification, or method transfer protocols.

Pay:

$48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
