401(k) Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Job description: Senior Scientist (R&D) is responsible for method development, validation, and analytical support activities for dietary supplements/pharmaceutical raw materials and finished products in a fast‑paced environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, regulatory understanding, and the ability to guide junior scientists
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Method Development:
Develop and optimize analytical methods (HPLC/UPLC, GC‑FID, LC‑MS/MS, GC‑MS/MS, ICP‑OES, ICP‑MS, IC, etc.) for raw materials and finished products. This includes developing and optimizing sample‑preparation procedures for complex‑matrix finished forms.
Method Validation:
Perform and document method validation/verification per USP and ICH Q2(R2) guidelines.
Instrument Troubleshooting:
Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments; ensure calibration and qualification compliance. Mentor junior chemists, train staff, and support work planning. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Master's / Ph.D. degree in chemistry, science or Pharmaceutics.
Experience:
MS/Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience in a dietary supplements/pharmaceutical analytical development lab. Must have good understanding of cGMPs and able to author quality investigations. Proficient in using softwares (such as Empower, openlab, Masshunter, Masslynx etc.) including custom field calculations.

Starting at $90,000.00 per year
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity for handling small tools and instruments.
