Environmental Monitoring Specialist I:

Work onsite in a collaborative, cleanroom environment with a dynamic team. Gain valuable experience in environmental monitoring and microbiological testing within a leading industry organization. What's a typical day as Environmental Monitoring Specialist I? You'll be: Performing environmental monitoring of aseptic production areas, including viable air, surface, particulate, and personnel monitoring. Incubating samples, documenting and reporting results, and submitting data. Preparing for and conducting microbial identification and transferring samples to contract labs. Conducting microbiological media growth promotion testing and maintaining departmental stock cultures. Supporting aseptic process simulations through inspection and evaluation. Executing equipment qualifications, ongoing cleaning, and maintenance. Performing safety testing on in-process and final drug products. Supporting general laboratory operations, such as inventory maintenance, ordering, cleaning/disinfection, and sample receipt/disposition. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Hold a BS in a science-related field, preferably Microbiology (degree requirement may be waived based on relevant experience). Have experience with aseptic processing and cleanroom environments Possess intermediate Excel skills and professional writing experience.
