The ideal candidate is an early-career scientist with a relevant bachelor's degree and solid hands-on research experience. This role primarily involves working at the bench to support drug discovery and development efforts through in vitro experiments. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in mammalian cell culture, in vitro pharmacology, and plate-based assays, including experience working with compounds and generating or evaluating dose-response data. Candidates from both academic and industry research environments are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Conduct laboratory experiments involving mammalian cell culture, ensuring optimal growth conditions and experimental consistency. Perform in vitro pharmacology assays to evaluate compound activity, including dose-response studies. Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot plate-based assays to support research objectives. Work with chemical compounds, preparing solutions and managing compound libraries for screening purposes. Generate high-quality data through meticulous experimental techniques and record keeping. Analyze assay results, interpret dose-response data, and communicate findings clearly to the team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and contribute to scientific discussions. Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment following established protocols and safety guidelines. Experience Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related fields. Solid hands-on experience working at the bench in mammalian cell culture and in vitro pharmacology assays. Proven ability to work with chemical compounds and generate or evaluate dose-response data. Familiarity with plate-based assay techniques and data analysis tools is preferred. Experience from either academic or industry research settings is acceptable; candidates should demonstrate strong experimental skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay:

$27.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
