Senior Research Staff & Post-doctoral Fellow Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences (PHLS) of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 536763) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year or two-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance) Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or a doctoral degree by research in microbiology, immunology, or a related discipline, with a proven research track record. They should be a self-motivated team player with critical thinking skills. Strong communication skills, along with a good command of spoken and written English, are essential. Experience in flow cytometry, T cell immunology, serology assays, and handling microbial pathogens at biosafety level 2 (BSL2) would be advantageous. The appointee will join a multidisciplinary research team to study the effect of pre-existing immunity to influenza infection and transmission.
