A Hydrologic Technician collects and organizes data concerning the distribution and circulation of ground and surface water, and data on its physical, chemical, and biological properties. Measures and reports on flow rates and ground water levels, maintains field equipment, collects water samples, installs and collects sampling equipment, and processes samples for shipment to testing laboratories. May collect data on behalf of hydrologists, engineers, developers, government agencies, or agriculture.

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Water Well Technician and Water Well Driller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water well systems, ensuring the reliable delivery of clean water. We are in need of a water well driller and pump technician. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of water well infrastructure Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely Technician-Repair and replace new and faulty equipment, including pumps, valves, sensors, and other components critical to water systems Driller-Drill/construct water wells from start to finish effectively and efficiently withoout supervision Requirements Proven experience working with water well systems CDLs Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating pumps, heavy equipment, and water system components. Ability to perform basic math calculations for data analysis, measurements, and system adjustments. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during

Pay:

$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
