Student Research Assistant - Aviation Research Lab - School of Aviation Bowling Green State University, United States about 16 hours ago
Location:
Campus, ILLINOIS Summary The Aviation Research Lab is seeking a student to support development and testing of Virtual Reality (VR) simulations for a drone training project. The student will assist faculty researchers with various tasks including data collection, VR testing, documentation, and related research tasks.

Recognize team needs and step up when leadership is required. Follow instructions, meet deadlines, and deliver quality work. Accept and incorporate feedback from peers to improve group performance. Troubleshoot simple technical issues or know when to ask for help. Essential Functions Assist with Virtual Reality (VR) development Assist with data collection, management, and analysis Conduct technical writing tasks Attend regular and special meetings both internally and externally Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant education background and prior work experience Demonstrated experience/proficiency with C#, C++, and other coding languages Demonstrated Experience in notable research projects Strong time management and organization skills Proven responsibility, accountability and determination Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications:
Maintains good academic standing Demonstrated coding experience, preferably in Virtual Reality (VR) settings Proficiency in technical writing and documentation Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with data analysis and interpretation Additional Information Applicants with summer availability preferred Bowling Green State University is an equal opportunity employer.
