Posting Details Classification Information Classification Type EHRA Position Overview Primary Purpose of Position The selected candidate for the Research Scientist position will assist the PI and Co-PIs in the implementation of all research and education activities associated with the new Interdisciplinary Biomedical Engineering Core ( IBEC ) facility at NC A&T. In this role, the Research Scientist will operate and maintain high end analytical instrumentation in the IBEC , facilitate training of users on the instruments, and assist users with the development of experimental workflow. The College of Science and Technology enrolls over 2290 students. The College houses the departments of Applied Engineering Technology, Biology, Built Environment, Chemistry, Computer Systems Technology, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, and the Ph.D. Program of Applied Science Technology. The College is experiencing substantial growth in enrollment, faculty size, curricula, and research. The Department of Biology's core mission encompasses excellence in teaching, cutting-edge research, and meaningful service to both students and the broader community.
