This role focuses onU.S. and international patent prosecution, supporting a sophisticated intellectual property practice and working closely with attorneys and clients on high-volume, high-quality patent matters.
OfferSalary range: $140,000-$190,000+, contingent on experienceComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with firm contributionGenerous paid time off and firm holidaysCLE, USPTO, and professional development supportUSPTO registration fees and bar related expenses coveredQualificationsAt least three years of hands-on patent prosecution experience in a law firm or in-house environmentUndergraduate or advanced degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineeringActive registration before the USPTO as a Patent AgentAbility to manage patent prosecution matters with minimal supervisionStrong drafting, analytical, and client communication skillsExperience working directly with inventors and technical teamsResponsibilitiesDrafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications across a range of technologiesPreparing responses to office actions and examiner interviewsConducting prior art searches and patentability analysesCollaborating with attorneys to develop prosecution strategies aligned with client objectivesManaging multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectationsFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
