Job Description:
The purpose of the position is to conduct research and to manage the laboratory of Dr. Hermann von Grafenstein.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in chemistry is required with significant experience in designing and running NMR and mass spectrometry experiments, including kinetic studies on hydrogen-deuterium exchange. Experience in recombinant DNA technology including primer design, plasmid engineering and protein expression.
Preferred Qualifications:
Communication and other skills: Ability to plan and implement novel experimental approaches based on thorough literature searches. Ability to guide junior laboratory members such as undergraduate and graduate students who join the laboratory as interns or perform research projects.
