Full Time Position available: Fisheries Biologist /
Aquatic Field Technician Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in fisheries/wildlife or related field required. Responsible, dependable, independent worker capable of physical activity. Understanding of basic management practices and willingness to learn. Skilled with Microsoft Word and Excel. Applicants must pass a pre hire drug screening to be considered for employment A clean driving record is required
Job Description :
Applicants will have the opportunity to work in the field performing day to day management of numerous ponds and lakes in Texas and surrounding states with an emphasis in invasive plant management and trophy fisheries management. Duties include but are not limited to: Electrofishing Data Analysis Report Composition Transporting/stocking fish Aquatic herbicide application Fertilizer / Lime / Gypsum application Other duties as assigned Position based in Carrollton, Texas.
