PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate escalation and reporting practices. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and/or guests in accordance with site policies and post orders. Prepare clear, detailed activity and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit. Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Have 5 or more years of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
