AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location. Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering and exiting the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed protocols, documenting findings and reporting concerns to site contacts. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through the proper chain of command when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location. Support access control and visitor processing by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and maintaining accurate logs of screening activity and unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Guard card is required Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
