Senior Property Manager

A well-established, privately held real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Property Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of multifamily properties across Westchester and Southern Connecticut.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support a small team of Property Managers and building staff, providing hands-on guidance and accountability Assess operational gaps across the portfolio and rebuild day-to-day processes and systems from the ground up Oversee violations, capital projects, major repairs, and building work across all properties Conduct regular field visits across Westchester and Southern CT Oversee vacancy management, unit turns, and coordinate closely with the leasing department to drive occupancy Coordinate tenant services through a dedicated Tenant Services Coordinator who handles first-contact communication Manage vendor relationships, repair approvals, invoice coding, and operational meetings

Qualifications:

5+ years of residential property management experience Yardi Voyager experience strongly preferred Proven track record building or rebuilding operational systems — not just maintaining existing ones Strong communicator with the ability to manage up to ownership and down to building staff with equal effectiveness
