Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented SEO Content Writer / Developer to join our in-house digital marketing team. In this role, you will craft compelling, optimized content that enhances our clients' visibility across search engines, AI search platforms, and social media. Your expertise in SEO strategy, web development, and content management will drive organic traffic, improve rankings, and directly support the growth of healthcare practices in competitive markets. This is a hands-on role that combines strong original writing with technical on-page SEO execution. Responsibilities Develop high-quality, keyword-rich content tailored for dental and medical audiences — blog posts, website pages, service pages, articles, and supporting social media content Write, optimize, and publish a minimum of 10 articles or pages per day across client WordPress sites Implement on-page SEO best practices including metadata, header tag hierarchy, image optimization, slug structure, and internal linking Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify ranking opportunities and surface new content ideas Build and manage content silos with appropriate depth and topical authority Manage and update WordPress sites to ensure clean UX and strong SEO performance Monitor and analyze site performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other SEO tools Execute link building campaigns to grow domain authority and search visibility Collaborate with developers on technical SEO improvements including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and schema markup Use Google Tag Manager to track conversions, set up pixels, and support SEM efforts Apply conversion optimization techniques to improve engagement and lead generation across client sites Required Qualifications Able to work on-site in our Westlake Village, CA office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. No remote or hybrid option. 5+ years of documented, hands-on WordPress experience 5+ years of documented experience with Yoast SEO Proven track record as an SEO Content Writer or Developer, ideally in healthcare, dental, or medical marketing Strong working knowledge of content architecture, content silos, content depth, link building, and header tag usage Proficient in keyword research, metadata optimization, and schema markup Skilled in image optimization, slug manipulation, and advanced on-page SEO tactics Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics for technical SEO implementation Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Google Tag Manager Strong original writing ability with a clear voice and storytelling instinct — no AI-generated content Able to consistently publish 10+ optimized pages/articles per day in a fast-paced environment Able to pass a background check and drug screening Compensation & Benefits $100,000 annual salary Performance-based bonus Medical and dental coverage after 90 days In-office collaboration with a senior marketing team How to Apply Submit your resume along with 3 to 5 writing samples and links to live WordPress pages you have personally written and optimized.
