SERVER JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

A Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food/beverages, maintaining a clean restaurant and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. Servers act as the main point of contact between customers and the kitchen staff. Join our lakeside team!

Key Responsibilities:

Hospitality greeting with customers and present menus Take accurate and timely food and drink orders Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner Check on customers to ensure satisfaction and address concerns Process payments (cash, credit, gift cards or digital) Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy Upsell menu items, specials, events and promotions when appropriate Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Attention to details with customers Basic math and cash-handling skills Customer service experience preferred (but not always required) Ability to stand and walk for long periods Team-oriented attitude

Working Conditions:

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus
