Job Overview We are looking for an energetic and friendly Server to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing attentive service to guests while ensuring their dining experience is memorable. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food service environments, especially in fast-paced settings. Pay is $5.50 per hour plus tips; housing is available. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus, offering recommendations and upselling specials to enhance their experience. Take accurate orders using Aloha, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs, questions, and dietary preferences with professionalism. Assist in food handling, serving dishes, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems, including cash handling and basic math. Follow all sanitation and food safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Follow all Ohio alcohol service regulations Skills Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred. Proficiency with Aloha POS. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations gracefully. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while upselling menu items confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent communication skills combined with basic math abilities for cashiering and cash handling tasks.
