Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Kankakee is seeking qualified applicants for a Shift Millwright position. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Developing and promoting safe work practices Maintaining daily records in a computerized maintenance system Applying technical knowledge to improve the conditions of all mill equipment, overhead cranes, etc. Utilize skills toward preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance on all equipment Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on work experience in industrial maintenance

Preferred Qualifications:
