Shipping and Receiving

Job Overview This position will be responsible for accurately receiving product from carriers and other TCH warehouses as well as shipping customer orders or organizing transfers to other TCH locations. Essential Job Functions Unload shipments from carriers and UPS and Fedex, utilizing warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc) Verify that product received is in acceptable condition before signing for shipment Check hardware in using Purchase Order, Packing List and TCH computer system Stage Special Orders and transfer items for other TCH warehouses in proper locations, update computer system Fill stock locations with product received in Receive transfers from other TCH warehouse for stock and special orders Assist HM shop, with metal fabrication and welding as needed Pull and stage orders for shipping or customer pickup Assist customers at the customer service desk with pickups, product inquiries, purchases, etc. Make jobsite deliveries when needed. Other duties as assigned Skills Requirements Good math skills and accuracy with numbers (count, add, subtract) Basic experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, power pallet jacks, etc. Experience using various shop tools like air nailer, electric grinder, jigsaw, circular saw, etc. MIG welding/ metal fabrication experience Able to work independently with little supervision Basic understanding of product nomenclature Basic understanding of TCH policies and procedures Basic computer understanding Forklift certification or willingness to be certified Favorable results from a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and Motor Vehicle Record check. Working Conditions Warehouse/shop environment susceptible to temperature changes, majority of day on your feet. Hearing protection and use of other Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.

Includes:
