About the Role The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is a hands-on role responsible for managing the daily flow of incoming and outgoing materials and finished products. This position ensures accurate, timely, and cost-effective shipments while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. Attention to detail, organization, and a strong sense of urgency are essential to support production schedules and customer deadlines. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency. Salary negotiable with experience. What You'll Do Pack, label, and ship finished products and materials using the most effective and economical methods based on delivery deadlines and cost considerations. Coordinate and expedite rush and time-sensitive orders to meet customer requirements. Perform quality control checks on outgoing and incoming products to ensure accuracy, condition, and compliance with job specifications. Process shipping documentation and maintain accurate records using MIS, FedEx, UPS, and other carrier systems. Schedule pickups and deliveries with couriers, freight companies, and common carriers. Receive incoming materials and products into the MIS system, verify quantities, inspect for damage, and distribute items to the appropriate storage or production areas. Coordinate and schedule company driver deliveries and routes. Serve as a backup driver when needed. Maintain accurate inventory levels of shipping materials and order supplies as needed. Organize and maintain shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas to ensure efficiency and accessibility. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company safety standards. Communicate effectively with Customer Service, Production, and Management to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols. Perform other duties as assigned. What we're looking for 3+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment (commercial print experience preferred). Experience with FedEx, UPS, and freight carrier systems. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn internal MIS systems. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move cartons and materials weighing 50-75 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and handle paper products throughout the shift. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening. Why Associates International?
