Side Load Trash Truck Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Side Load Trash Truck
• Load and unload containers onto the truck using a hydraulic system
• Follow designated routes and schedules
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate records of daily fuel usage, and interactions with customers
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate well with dispatch regarding routes and interactions with customers
• Ability to use technology proficiently

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a delivery driver, preferably with roll-off or dump truck experience, or trash truck experience
• Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures for loading and unloading materials
• Excellent driving record with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
