Hold a valid New Jersey educational services certificate with a School Counselor endorsement or a Student Personnel Services endorsement, or other appropriate endorsement(s). Hold a valid driver's license with no serious violations. Demonstrates experience delivering classroom lessons, and school-wide activities that support students' academic, college and career, and social-emotional development. Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills and demonstrates the ability to effectively collaborate with students, families, teachers, administrators, and community partners to support student success. Has experience facilitating Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS) meetings, coordinating Section 504 plans, and implementing crisis intervention in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines. Exhibits a professional disposition, strong moral character, and personal initiative while maintaining confidentiality and advocating for the needs of all students. Communicates effectively both orally and in writing in English and demonstrates proficiency in the use of technology, student information systems, educational platforms, and data-management tools.
