Full Job Description Position Summary :

Under the direction of the Program Manager and Assistant Manager, the Restorative Practices Intervention Specialist will facilitate and co-facilitate Community Building Circles, Restorative Conferences, Restorative Conversations, and Support Circles with students and staff at assigned school district sites. The specialist will also support intervention efforts with youth impacted by violence and group affiliations, fostering safer school climates and promoting positive relationship-building. Essential Functions/Responsibilities General Responsibilities Commit to Core Services listed in the current Scope of Work Commit to the agency's Mission, Vision, and Values. Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed with supervisor's approval. Employee will need reliable transportation to work at assigned school site within Orange County and/or different School Districts and attend weekly meetings at PK headquarters in Santa Ana. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Circle Facilitation & Support Plan and coordinate logistics for Circle practices, including pre-conferences for Re-entry and Support circles. Coach and support staff and students in facilitating Community Building Circles, Restorative Circles, and Restorative Conversations. Provide follow-up with students and staff to address circle-related incidents. Training & Development Develop tools for best practices, such as templates, videos, and presentations. Lead professional development workshops for staff and students. Attend trainings at Project Kinship, school district, or other sites as needed. Intervention & Case Management Lead interventions for at-risk students and families, focusing on support, mentoring, life skills, and coaching. Provide mediation services for behaviors like bullying and aggression. Offer case management, including referrals and access to care for students and families. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate documentation (Apricot, on-site records, sign-in sheets) in compliance with quality assurance standards. Collaboration & Continuity of Care Collaborate with school personnel, district officials, community organizations, and county services to ensure culturally relevant referrals and continuity of care. Attend meetings from assigned school site meetings, school district, and agency meetings (COST meetings, team staff meetings, PSS meetings, all staff meetings, etc.) Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience At least one year of Restorative Practices and Violence Prevention experience Preferred experience working with system impacted/gang involved youth Other Qualifications Ability to work both on a multidisciplinary team as well as independently Excellent communicator

• ability to read, analyze and produce reports Demonstrated knowledge and sensitivity to multiple cultures and underserved youth living in Central Orange County and/or Los Angeles County Strong organizational skills Ability to maintain client confidentiality Bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural preferred

Background Check Requirement:

The successful candidate for this position will be required to pass or clear two background checks. The first background check will be conducted by Project Kinship as per our policies and procedures. The second background check will be conducted by Funders through our contracted vendors, after the candidate is hired with Project Kinship, in accordance with our contractual agreements. Failure to pass either of these background checks may result in the withdrawal of the job offer or termination of employment. Tuberculosis (TB)

The successful candidate for this position will be required to provide documentation of a clear TB (tuberculosis) test or shot, in compliance with Project Kinship's policy.
