Full-time (40 hours/week), Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (occasional evenings/weekends for trainings) Reports to:

Daily travel across Eagle County (personal vehicle required) About the Role The ECP Coach supports early childhood educators in Eagle County to improve the quality of care and education they provide. Coaching is relationship-based : you will build trusting partnerships that help educators reflect on their practice, recognize strengths, identify areas for growth, and set goals. You'll support both adult wellbeing (recognizing stress/burnout) and children's protective factors (attachment/relationships, initiative, self-regulation). Key Responsibilities Classroom Coaching (Monthly) Visit assigned classrooms monthly to observe, coach one-on-one, and provide feedback Use assessment/coaching tools to support goal-setting and improvement ( CLASS, LENA Grow, ERS, DECA ) Support programs in preparing for and improving Colorado Shines quality ratings Coach program directors on leadership and program operations Model effective teaching strategies when needed Respond to educator questions between visits (phone/email) Support educators working with children who have challenging behaviors Relationship-Based Practice Build ongoing, trusting relationships with educators and program administrators Support reflection and staff-driven goal setting Notice signs of stress/burnout and adjust coaching pace accordingly Refer educators to ECP/community resources when needs fall outside coaching scope Training Facilitation (As Assigned) Facilitate training programs based on organizational need (some evening/weekend sessions) Potential trainings include: Incredible Years (Teacher Classroom Management), Circle of Security (Classroom), EQIT (Expanding Quality in Infant and Toddler Care) , plus custom trainings Limited to one multi-day training at a time to ensure observation/follow-up completion Documentation & Professional Growth Log coaching visits, training sessions, and professional development activities Write/share coaching and assessment reports; prepare training materials Attend monthly reflective supervision Participate in 1:1 meetings, bi-weekly team meetings, and monthly mentor coaching Obtain and maintain: Colorado Department of Early Childhood Coach Credential (within 6 months of hire) Trainer Credential Maintain coaching practice through ongoing professional development Work Environment & Physical Requirements Travel daily across Eagle County to multiple childcare sites (personal vehicle required) Work in school-based programs, private centers, and family childcare homes Engage with children during visits (including getting on the floor) Carry training materials/assessment tools (up to 25 lbs ) Drive mountain roads year-round in all weather Required Qualifications Associate's degree in early childhood education, child development/family studies, or related field Minimum 5 years experience working with children and families Knowledge of infant and child development Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle Ability to build rapport and work with educators/program leaders Willingness to give and receive direct feedback Openness to reflective practice; acceptance of individual differences Tact and discretion handling confidential information Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field Conversational/professional Spanish proficiency How to Apply To apply, email your resume and any required application materials to julia@ecpartners.org .
