Minnesota Golden Hearts is seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-Person Employment Specialist (part-time with ability to grow into full-time) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in their journey towards employment. This position requires a strong commitment to mentoring, and training development to help clients achieve their career goals.

Responsibilities Include:

Conduct assessments to understand the skills, interests, and needs of clients seeking employment. Develop personalized employment plans that align with clients' strengths, goals, ambitions, and career aspirations. Provide guidance and support throughout the job search process, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job placement. Collaborate with local employers to identify job opportunities suitable for clients. Offer ongoing support and mentoring to clients once they secure employment to ensure long-term success. Maintain accurate records of client progress and outcomes for reporting purposes. Assist clients to discover and overcome personal barriers, set goals, develop social, work and life skills.
