Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' abilities, needs, and goals to develop individualized rehabilitation plans. Provide counseling and coaching to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other disabilities to enhance their employment prospects and life skills. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and mentoring programs focused on workforce development and social integration. Collaborate with employers, attorneys, doctors, community organizations, and service providers to coordinate services and promote inclusive employment opportunities. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, case notes, and service plans using Microsoft Office tools. Write VR plans. Conduct client interviews, provide ongoing support through coaching sessions, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Develop training materials, write reports, and prepare presentations that support client development and program objectives. Experience Knowledge of NV workers comp and VR in Nevada. If you do not have NV experience, out of state experience will be considered. Knowledge of billable hour Knowledge of resources such as BVR. Knowledge of case management software (Specifically Gardiant) Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in workers comp. Strong background in case management and rehabilitation counseling within social services or workforce development settings. Familiarity with employment & labor law as it relates to disability rights and workplace accommodations. Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations to promote equitable access to services. Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, recruit, and develop clients or team members effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting purposes. Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques combined with experience in coaching or teaching roles is highly desirable. Pay:
$32.00 - $38.50 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
