Helping Hearts USA LLC is hiring a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver for a private-duty senior care case in Ardmore, Alabama. Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 2:00PM About This Case:
We are seeking a patient, safety-focused caregiver for a senior male client in a private home setting. The client is mentally alert, conversational, kind, motivated, and enjoys meaningful interaction. This case requires a caregiver who is comfortable with personal care, mobility support, fall prevention, companionship, and light housekeeping.Caregiver Duties:
Personal care assistance Dressing, grooming, and hygiene support Toileting-related clothing assistance as needed Mobility support and fall prevention Safety supervision throughout the shift Companionship, conversation, and encouragement Light housekeeping, bed making, tidying, and laundry Simple meal preparation and fluid encouragement Medication reminders only, as directed by the care plan Observation and reporting of changes in condition, mood, balance, strength, or safety Accurate documentation of care provided Following the written care plan and agency policiesWhat We Need:
Minimum age of 18 Proven caregiving experience preferred Experience with seniors, personal care, mobility support, rehab recovery, and fall-risk clients preferred Compassionate, professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Strong communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Able to work independently in a private home setting Able to follow directions and care plans Able to maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Physically capable of assisting with personal care, mobility support, and light housekeepingTransportation Requirements:
Reliable transportation required Valid current driver's license required Current car insurance required Good driving record requiredRequired Employment Documents:
Proof of identity and work authorization for Form I-9 Valid current driver's license Social Security card Birth certificate Proof of high school completion or equivalent Current car insuranceScreening Requirements:
Comprehensive background check required Drug screening, if applicable Five verifiable professional references required No friends or family references accepted Employment is contingent upon successful completion of screening, documentation, and reference verificationProfessional Expectations:
