Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional support to individuals with diverse needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents by delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a strong commitment to quality patient care across various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home health environments. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status or behavior Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Support residents with mobility using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, including patient monitoring reports and incident logs Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Provide emotional support through active listening and engaging activities that promote mental well-being Support residents during medical appointments or community outings using personal transportation assistance Follow all safety protocols including CPR, first aid procedures, and emergency response plans Experience Candidates should have prior experience working in group homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health settings. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and hospice care is highly valued. Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities will be considered an asset. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in patient observation, medication administration, patient monitoring, and implementing care plans. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality at all times. Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or patient personal care assistance is essential. Candidates with Geriatrics experience or long-term care backgrounds will find this role aligns well with their expertise. Additional skills include assisting with ADLs, manual handling techniques, heavy lifting when necessary, and supporting clients with intellectual disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders.
Requirements:

Pay:
$19.50 - $23.00 per hour
