Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly Assist Residents to administer medications Support residents during meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional requirements are met Utilize patient transfer methods such as Chair lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility assistance Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations, care activities, and medication administration in compliance with HIPAA regulations Engage in cleaning duties to uphold a safe, hygienic environment that promotes health and safety standards, personal care and duties as assigned. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, respecting their resident's rights and promoting dignity at all times Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Proven ability to work with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, medication administration, first aid, CPR certification, and vital signs measurement Familiarity with care plans development and implementation for residents with complex needs such as hospice or memory care Experience assisting with transfers using Hoyer/chair lifts or other patient transfer methods; heavy lifting skills are advantageous Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams while providing compassionate caregiving in a home or community setting Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional care.
