What You'll Do As a Resident Aide, you will: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship. Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests. Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition. Assist with meal service, hydration, and evening or morning routines. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company policies. Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe, and organized. Follow individualized care plans while preserving each resident's dignity and independence. Work closely with Med Techs, nurses, and management to ensure excellent resident care. PM & Night Shift Responsibilities PM Shift Assist residents with dinner, personal care, and bedtime routines. Prepare residents for a restful evening. Complete evening documentation and shift responsibilities. Night Shift (NOC) Conduct resident safety rounds. Respond to call lights and resident needs. Assist with toileting, repositioning, and overnight care. Monitor resident safety and report concerns immediately. Complete cleaning and assigned overnight duties while maintaining a quiet, safe environment. Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain). Current Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred or willingness to obtain if required. Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely. Strong communication and customer service skills. Must pass a background check and meet all California RCFE employment requirements.
