Heart of Gold Nursing is looking for a dependable and compassionate female caregiver to provide weekend support for a sweet 78-year-old female client in the Idyllwild area. Saturday & Sunday, 12:00 PM-5:00 PM 10 hours per week

About the Client Our client is a 78-year-old female has mild cognitive changes and early signs of dementia , so we are looking for someone who is patient, reassuring, and comfortable working with an older adult who may occasionally need reminders and gentle guidance What You'll Do Your main focus will be helping the client feel safe, comfortable, and engaged while maintaining as much independence as possible.

Duties may include:

Providing friendly companionship and conversation Supervising and encouraging safe movement around the home Helping reduce fall risks Preparing simple meals and assisting with cooking Light housekeeping and tidying Providing gentle reminders and reassurance Accompanying and supervising the client when she walks through the home, including going downstairs to access her freezer Helping maintain a positive and comfortable home environment A Little About the Home The home is located in the Idyllwild mountain area on a hill , so reliable transportation and comfort with mountain driving are important. There are also two indoor cats in the home. The cats must remain indoors.
