Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Assistant to provide exceptional care and support to residents in a residential care environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible with working with the Executive Director to oversee the Assised Living program. This role requires strong communication skills, experience in senior care, ability to supervise and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and families. The Assisted Living Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents through attentive and personalized care. Responsibilities Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure their needs are understood and met. Oversees implementation of daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Support residents with senior care needs, promoting independence and dignity. Enforcement of safe patient lifting techniques to prevent injury to residents and staff. Supervise and collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality care. Maintain detailed documentation of resident care activities in compliance with regulatory standards. Work closely with families to address concerns and provide updates on resident well-being. Uphold safety standards within the residential care home environment at all times. Flexibility with day to day tasks and knowledge of the on call nature of the position. Skills Proven experience in residential or senior care settings. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Knowledge of medication administration procedures, including EMAR systems. Ability to perform safe patient lifting practices and assist with mobility needs. Experience supervising team members Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in enhancing residents' quality of life. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with working with families and providing empathetic support during challenging situations. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
