Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented In-Home Care Provider to support clients with diverse healthcare needs within their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, including assisting with daily activities, and providing emotional support. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized home healthcare assistance. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, ensuring dignity and comfort for clients. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and accompaniment to appointments. Monitor patients' health status by observing any changes and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals promptly. Support clients with medication reminders following prescribed schedules and medical documentation protocols. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to accurately document care activities and patient information while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Requirements Proven experience in home healthcare assistance or assisted living environments. Knowledge of medical terminology, catheter care, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized caregiving techniques. Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently for medical records management and documentation accuracy. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Valid certification in first aid and adherence to home health care regulations and safety standards.
