- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including lifting when necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring the health and safety of clients.
- Support clients in their home or community care settings, promoting independence while ensuring safety.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as required. Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities and memory care techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
- Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring is a plus.
- A compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid or relevant caregiving training is an advantage but not mandatory.
