Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable professional to provide personalized care and support to an individual in a home or community setting. In this role, you will help promote comfort, safety, dignity, and independence through attentive assistance with daily living activities and routine personal care tasks. Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support as needed Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging independence and dignity Support with light housekeeping tasks related to the care environment, such as tidying living areas and laundry Assist with meal preparation, feeding support, and monitoring hydration as appropriate Help with safe transfers, repositioning, and other mobility-related needs Follow care plans, instructions, and established routines while maintaining a respectful, person-centered approach Observe and report any changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor or family contact Maintain accurate documentation when required Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment Qualifications Experience in personal care, home care, caregiving, or a related support role preferred Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and professional approach Ability to follow care instructions and communicate effectively Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy Physical ability to assist with routine care tasks and mobility support as needed Current certifications or training may be required depending on the assignment Preferred Attributes Patient, respectful, and attentive to individual needs Flexible and responsive to changing care requirements Committed to promoting comfort, safety, and quality of life What We Offer A supportive work environment focused on dignity and compassion Opportunities to make a meaningful difference in someone's daily life Training and ongoing support may be available based on the role
