Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor vital signs regularly and report any irregularities to healthcare professionals promptly Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication activities Provide specialized care for clients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive disabilities, implementing appropriate behavior management strategies Support residents with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while respecting dietary restrictions Maintain a safe environment through manual handling techniques and safe patient lifting practices Engage in effective communication with clients and their families to ensure personalized care plans are followed and needs are met Experience Prior assisted living or residential care home experience is highly preferred Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease Experience in geriatrics, long-term care, or home & community care settings is advantageous Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid/CPR certification is required Familiarity with resident's rights and behavior management techniques in senior or retirement home environments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks associated with caregiving duties Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds and coordinate care within group home or personal care home settings

$190.00 - $200.00 per day
