Caregivers Home Care Recharged is hiring experienced Live-In Caregivers throughout Marion County, Florida. Are you a compassionate, dependable CNA or HHA with experience caring for seniors in a live-in home setting? We are looking for reliable caregivers who enjoy working one-on-one with clients and helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Compensation $15.00-$16.00 per hour, plus overtime when applicable Live-in assignments are structured as 24-hour stays in the client's home with approximately 12 scheduled paid working hours per day , depending on the client's needs and assignment. Caregivers are hired as W-2 employees, not independent contractors. Actual weekly earnings depend on the number of scheduled days, hours actually worked, and overtime. Typical Live-In Schedule A typical live-in day may include: Approximately 12 paid working hours Up to 8 scheduled sleep hours Two scheduled 2-hour off-duty break periods Break and sleep periods are provided based on the specific client assignment. During scheduled off-duty periods, the caregiver must be fully relieved from work duties and able to use the time for personal purposes. If the caregiver is required to perform work during a scheduled break or sleep period, that time must be reported and will be treated as compensable work time in accordance with applicable wage and hour requirements. Live-in schedules may vary depending on the client's condition, nighttime needs, safety requirements, and care plan. Responsibilities Live-in caregivers assist clients with activities of daily living and provide companionship and household support.
Duties may include:
Bathing and personal hygiene Dressing and grooming Toileting and incontinence assistance Ambulation and mobility assistance Transfers Meal preparation Assistance with eating Companionship and social interaction Purposeful engagement and activities Light housekeeping Laundry Maintaining a safe and comfortable client environment Accompanying clients to appointments and errands Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition Completing required caregiver documentation Duties are based on the client's individualized care plan and caregiver assignment. Live-In Assignment Expectations Caregivers must be comfortable remaining in the client's home for multiple consecutive days during an assigned live-in rotation. Typical assignments may include 3-day or 4-day live-in blocks , depending on client needs and caregiver availability.
Caregivers are expected to:
Arrive on time and remain for the full scheduled assignment Follow the assigned care plan Accurately document all hours worked Report any overnight interruptions or work performed during scheduled off-duty periods Communicate promptly with the office regarding changes in the client's condition or care needs Maintain professional boundaries and respect the client's home and privacy
